1. What is the usual parking/retrieval time in the mechanical parking?

- On average, the procedure of retrieving the vehicle, from the moment you press the button to the moment of departure, from the exit/entrance station takes 70-90 seconds (1.5 minutes), and in some cases this time may be increased to 2.5 minutes.

2. What is the power consumption of automated parking system?

- Electricity consumption per one cycle, which includes parking and the retrieval of vehicle, is averaging 1 kW.

3. What is the estimated price of one car parking spot in multilevel robotic parking?

- Depending on the type of system, the number of parking spaces and other optional equipment installed the price can range from $ 9,000 to $ 15,000.

4. How profitable construction of the multi-level automated parking facilities comparing to the conventional multi-level parking?

– On the same development area, by implementing the multi-level robotic parking instead of conventional parking, we could gain up to 40% of additional parking spaces.

5. How many people need to maintain the parking system?

– Considering that the proposed parking systems are fully automated the presence of permanent staff is not required, but in some cases (given the novelty of the product), the presence of one or two technicians on the premises is possible. In other cases, we do routine on-site inspection.

6. What is the operational life of equipment before the major repairs or replacement of the key elements in the system?

– Depending on the type of system, overhaul should be carried out after 12-15 years of operation. Basically, lifetime of mechanical parking system is comparable to the lifetime of the building.

7. What is the approximate cost of service tiered Auto Rental per month?

– Cost of service depends on the type of robotic systems rental, the number of parking spaces in it, used auxiliary equipment, location and intensity of use, and can vary from 5 to 15 hryvnia for one car per day.

8. What is the level of safety / security in the mechanical parking?

– Even in the simplest, by first appearance, parking systems we applied few levels of protection and security devices, including mechanical and photo sensors, and other safety devices.

9. Where this equipment is made, and what accessory parts are used?

– The production facility is located in South Korea, all the electrical motors and gearboxes that used are manufactured by the well known German company «SEW-EURODRIVE»

10. How high or how many levels of automated car parking facility can be?

– In accordance with current state building codes the number of levels in mechanical parking facility is determined by technical and structural conditions of the system itself, but it’s height can not exceed 26.5 meters, which allows you to make 10 - 14 levels of above-ground parking structure. It is also possible to construct the underground part of up to 5 levels.

11. How many loading lifts needs to be at the parking facility to ensure the average car delivery time in 70-90 seconds?

– To assure the seamless delivery of the vehicles in parking facility, we recommend using one exit/entrance station for every 60-70 cars, although technically, one lift can serve up to 100 cars.

12. Can a person go into the automated car parking facilities or stay in the car while it is parking?

– No, because the parking/retrieval procedure is done automatically by electronically operated carts/lifts, therefore the driver and passengers must leave the car, turning off the engine, and locking the vehicle.

13. What if the electricity is turned off? How to get, or park your vehicle?

– Most of the building constructed is using two independent power sources. In other cases, we are providing an alternative power source.

14. What is the warranty period for the equipment?

– The warranty period is standard; it is one year from the date the equipment is put into the operation. The after warranty services are performed by our technicians on a fee basis.

15. Can I be sure that nothing will get (drip) on my car (oil, water, etc.) from the vehicle above me?

– Every car is placed on specially designed pallet, which excludes the possibility of any liquid dripping on the car, located on the level below.

16. What is the level noise from automated parking system?

– Based on the existing building codes the maximum noise level, which creates working mechanisms of robotic parking, shall not exceed 60 dB at a distance of 2 meters away from the building. The noise level of the mechanisms used in our parking systems is 50-52 dB at a distance of 2 meters inside the parking facility, so the system is virtually noiseless.

17. How difficult is the installation procedure for "Puzzle", "Rotary" or "Scissor-Lift"?

– Installation of a “Scissor-Lift” is averaging in 2 hours, in cases like “Puzzle and “Rotary” it might take from 3 to 15 days.

18. What kind of cladding material is used for edging the multi-level mechanical parking?

– Any kind of cladding material can be used (sandwich boards, glass, polycarbonate, etc) you only need to consider the deadweight of the material that you planning to use, and take it into consideration before we start the design.

19. Can I park SUV into the automated parking system?

– Yes, for almost every project, we recommend to reserve some space (20%-30%) for large vehicles like SUV.

20. Which temperature ensures stable operation of a mechanical parking?

– Seamless operation of the equipment in mechanical parking is ranging from -30 º C to +45 º C.

21. Whether the automated parking facility needs to be lighted up inside

– No, there is no need for full lighting of the object, since there is no presence of human inside the facility, although the emergency light, according to building codes, is should be.
